Types of saunas and wellness solutions
Discover the full range of traditional Finnish saunas, infrared saunas and steam rooms (hammam), designed for relaxation, detoxification and professional-level hydrotherapy. Options range from standard prefabricated cabins to custom projects tailored exactly to your space dimensions, including design, selection of sauna wood species, supply of technical equipment and professional installation.
Each type of sauna offers distinct benefits: the Finnish sauna reaches high temperatures for deep sweating, infrared penetrates directly into tissues at milder temperatures, and the steam room ensures 100% humidity ideal for the respiratory tract.
How we work and what services we offer
We provide consultation and design for choosing the right sauna, followed by delivery throughout Romania. Our team handles installation, commissioning and maintenance, ensuring after-sales service.
Over 12 years of experience allow us to manage residential and commercial projects. We operate directly from our own showroom and warehouse in Tunari (Ilfov), where we have a 1,200 sqm indoor and 6,000 sqm outdoor space to display wellness solutions.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a Finnish sauna, infrared sauna and steam room?
• Finnish sauna (dry): Heats the air in the cabin to temperatures of 80–90°C with low humidity (10–20%), which can be temporarily increased by pouring water over the volcanic stones of the heater. • Infrared sauna: Uses panels or radiators that heat the body directly (up to 45–60°C), featuring lower energy consumption and rapid heating. • Steam room (hammam): Operates at lower temperatures (40–50°C), but with a relative humidity of 100%, generated by an automatic steam generator in a fully waterproof cabin clad with mosaic or ceramic tiles.
Which type of sauna suits me?
The choice depends on thermal comfort preferences, available space and health condition. If you prefer intense heat and circulation stimulation, the traditional Finnish sauna is the classic choice. For a gentler therapy, also recommended for those sensitive to high temperatures, the infrared sauna is suitable. For hydrating the respiratory tract and muscle relaxation in dense steam, the ideal option is the hammam.
Is a standard cabin or a custom-made sauna better?
• Standard cabin (prefabricated): Has fixed dimensions, fast delivery and simple installation, being an efficient solution for standardised spaces. • Custom sauna: Designed exactly to the room's configuration (niches, attics, glazed walls), allowing the choice of wood species (for example, cedar, aspen or Nordic spruce), lighting type and heating equipment.
How much space is required and how many people fit?
Capacity is calculated based on bench length and number of levels, not just floor area. For a comfortable seated position, approximately 60 cm of bench per person is factored in, and for a lying position, a bench of at least 180–200 cm in length is required. Additionally, the cabin height (usually 200–210 cm) directly influences the volume of air that needs to be heated.
How is the sauna heater sized?
The heater power is calculated based on the total volume of the cabin and the glass, stone or uninsulated masonry surfaces. As a general guideline, a residential sauna requires approximately 1 kW for each cubic metre of space, with the final choice respecting the manufacturer's technical specifications.
What installations need to be prepared before installation?
• For dry sauna / infrared: A dedicated electrical cable sized appropriately to the heater power (from 3.5 kW at 230V up to 9+ kW at 400V three-phase), residual current protection in the panel and ventilation slots (intake/exhaust). • For steam room (hammam): In addition to the electrical supply, connection to cold/hot water, floor drain, complete waterproofing, sloped ceiling (to prevent condensation dripping) and a niche/technical space for the steam generator are mandatory.
Can the sauna be installed indoors or outdoors?
Yes, but the technical equipment differs. Indoors, the room ventilation and electrical supply are checked. For outdoors, the sauna must be designed with a self-supporting structure, insulated roof, weather protection and enhanced thermal insulation of the walls to withstand negative temperatures and humidity variations.
What wood is used and how is the sauna maintained?
Indoors, high-quality, chemically untreated wood species are used, with low thermal conductivity and no risk of resin leakage (such as Canadian cedar, aspen, linden or Nordic spruce). Maintenance involves airing the cabin after each use, cleaning the benches with special neutral solutions for sauna wood and periodically checking the volcanic stones of the heater.
How much does a sauna consume and how long does it take to heat up?
Consumption depends directly on the heater power and session duration. For example, a 6 kW heater consumes a maximum of 6 kWh in one hour of operation at full power, but once the set temperature is reached, the thermostat reduces consumption. An infrared sauna is ready to use in 10–15 minutes, while a traditional Finnish sauna requires approximately 40–50 minutes to evenly heat the environment and stones.
How long does delivery, installation and commissioning take?
Standard in-stock cabins can be delivered and installed within a few working days. For a custom sauna, the production stage usually takes between 10 and 20 days after technical project approval, and on-site installation and commissioning carried out by the specialised team takes 1–3 days.
