Frequently asked questions

What are the differences between the available Caldera Spas® series?

The series differ in jet configuration and equipment level. The Utopia series includes specialised jets such as Atlas® Neck Massage and Euphoria®, the Paradise series combines VersaSsage™ and Euro jets, whilst the Vacanza series integrates AdaptaSsage™ and AdaptaFlo™ jets. We can advise you based on your hydrotherapy needs.

How does the FreshWater® Salt saltwater system work?

The FreshWater® Salt system uses a rechargeable titanium cartridge to automatically convert the salt added to the water into a reduced amount of active disinfectant. This process eliminates unpleasant chlorine odours, keeps the water gentle on the skin and allows the same water to be maintained in the spa for up to 12 months, without frequent changes.

What is FiberCor® insulation and how does it affect energy consumption?

FiberCor® is a patented insulating material, with a density 4 times greater than standard polyurethane foam. It fills all empty spaces inside the cabinet without leaving air gaps, effectively retaining water heat and substantially reducing electricity consumption during winter.

What capacity and size options are available in the Caldera Spas® range?

The range includes models from the Utopia®, Paradise® and Vacanza® categories, with configurations ranging from 2-3 seats (compact, ideal for terraces or restricted spaces) to large 7-8 seat spas for families or groups, equipped with combinations of upright seats and loungers.

What technical preparations are required for installing a Caldera Spas® spa?

A sturdy and level platform (preferably a reinforced concrete slab), a water source for filling and a dedicated electrical connection are required. Depending on the model, power supply can be via a protected standard socket (Plug & Play models) or through a separate 230V/400V electrical circuit with residual current protection, routed directly from the main distribution board.
