The hot tub filter

Why look after the filter of your hot tub?

The filter of your Caldera hot tub is essential in order to keep the water in the tub always clean and to make sure it works properly. A dirty or worn filter is no longer as efficient; it will restrict the flow of water passing through it, affecting the tub's pumps. Failing to clean the filter will also lead to a build-up of bacteria.

Why not have a clean, high-performing spa?

It is extremely simple to look after the filter of your hot tub; you only have to follow two important steps:

Monthly: it is recommended that you remove the hot tub filter and pass it under a jet of water to remove the deposits built up in its pleats. Cleaning can be done with a garden hose. It is very important to turn the filter on all sides while cleaning it.

Every 3-4 months: every time you change the water in the tub, carry out a complete cleaning of the filter. Remove it from the filter compartment, pass it under a jet of water to remove deposits, then leave it overnight soaked in a special degreaser intended for cleaning filters.

Once you have completed this step, wash it well and put it back. It is extremely important to remove the degreasing solution completely so as not to contaminate the water, thus avoiding the appearance of foam.

As for filter wear, an original Caldera filter is made to last from 2 to 3 years, depending on the frequency of use and the number of users.

Isn't it extremely easy to look after the filter of your Caldera hot tub? And the good part is that your spa will always stay in top condition.
