What types of saunas does HIDROSTYLE offer?

The Hidrostyle portfolio is very diverse when it comes to saunas. What is the ideal place in the house/apartment for the sauna?

Saunas can be located both indoors and outdoors, depending a lot on preferences and available space. There are people who prefer an interior space, but there are also others who want to enjoy the natural landscape by allocating a space dedicated to the exterior.

If you want to have a sauna inside the house, it can be placed in different places: in the bathroom, attic, instead of a dressing room or hallway, etc. In general, a dedicated space can be helpful indoors, and in this sense, the construction of a sauna on the available dimensions (custom) may be more appropriate. In the case of apartments that do not benefit from sufficient electrical power, infrared saunas can be a better solution. They are smaller in size, easy to mount and install, and most importantly, they don't require that much electrical power. A wall outlet capable of withstanding a maximum consumption of approximately 3 kW is sufficient.

Do saunas require maintenance? If so, what does this entail?

Saunas require a minimum of maintenance in private use. In general, it is necessary to sanitize the sauna floor or the space under the floor grill, if it exists. For wood, there are solutions to help remove dust, grease or moisture stains. It is generally sufficient to wipe the sauna furniture with a soft cloth and a little water. Also, once every few months it is recommended to check the stage and level of rocks in the electric heater. They degrade over time, which is why they need to be replenished until the resistors are completely covered by rocks, and after a while they even need to be replaced.
